CHARITY PARTNERS
The Gait Lab at Monash Children’s Hospital is a cutting-edge facility, striving to enhance the mobility and independence of infants, children, and adolescents facing developmental, neurological, or orthopedic challenges hindering lower limb function.
While their 2D technology is adequate, funding is needed to facilitate the upgrade of equipment and increase their staffing to provide the best possible diagnosis and treatment for their patients and facilitate more appointments and shorter wait times for children and their families.
Starlight's research-based programs provide positive distraction from the pain, fear and stress of serious illness, creating moments of happiness, fun and joy in their place.Happiness helps seriously ill children and their families feel more positive about their healthcare experience. It boosts their resilience and helps them cope in the most difficult of times. That’s why Starlight exists. Because Happiness Matters.
Funds raised through this event will help Starlight to provide the happiness, play and creativity that helps to boost sick kids’ health and wellbeing through the Starlight Express Room and Captain Starlight Programs.
