The Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation is excited to announce that Michael Byrom, a Brisbane-based lawyer, veteran Chain Reaction cyclist, and long-standing board member, has been selected by the Board of Directors to lead the organisation as Interim CEO, guiding Chain Reaction into 2025.
Since participating in his first Chain Reaction Challenge in 2008, Michael has now completed 17 of our 1000km in seven-day events. He has been an inspirational figure in the Chain Reaction community.
Michael’s legal and commercial expertise, combined with his intimate knowledge of the Chain Reaction formula, makes him the ideal leader to steer the organisation as it continues to deliver high-impact cycling events and fundraising outcomes.
Michael has been a dedicated advocate for the Foundation, and his commitment to helping children’s charities and fostering a connected community through cycling is unwavering.
