Fundraising Fitness challenge for my Fiftieth
I will be turning 50 in April 2022 and I have challenged myself with a massive personal fitness goal whilst raising money for two amazing women and children's charities. As you may know, cycling is a new passion of mine and this will certainly test everything I have - it is nothing like AFL! Training started over a year ago on a borrowed bike and now with over 7,000km in the legs, one fall and 12kgs lighter I have increased my fitness and chance of success.
Chain Reaction is the ultimate cycling challenge - I will be riding over 1,000kms in 7 days across Tasmania to raise money for Hope Street and So They Can.
Hope Street is for Women and for Children living in fear and who have experienced domestic and family violence. So They Can has a vision to change the future for children living in poverty in Kenya and Tanzania, with a focus on education.
Not all superheros wear caps but they all wear lycra.
Please help me achieve my fundraising goal.
