Help me support kids in need
I’ve been given the great opportunity to participate in this years Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation ride which takes place on New Zealand’s north island where we will cover 1000km in 7 days.
The Chain Reaction Foundation does some amazing work delivering multi-day cycling challenges all over the country to raise much needed funds for a number of children’ s charities. This year our major charity partners are Monash Children’s Hospital and Starlight Children’s Foundation with the overall fundraising target for Melbourne set at $1M. Funds raised will provide advanced ventilators for Monash Children’s Hospital to support critically ill babies and allowing them to go home sooner. Funds will also go towards Starlight’s programs Starlight Express Room and Captain Starlight that bring joy, resilience, and relief from hospital life to seriously ill children.
The challenge will combine my passion of pushing the body physically and making a commitment to changing the lives of many sick kids and their families.
