Help me support kids in need
Hi all - I've signed up for my fourth Chain Reaction Challenge - this time I'm riding with a Pure Storage team on the New South Wales ride, so I'm in a team with my co-workers again! We've paid an entrance fee, btw - so all your money is going to the charity partners, not to pay for the ride!
This year, the ride is supporting BaptistCare HopeStreet's programs for vulnerable children affected by domestic and family violence, and So They Can, who run programs thathelp to break the poverty cycle with programs supporting girls to stay in school in Kenya and Tanzania.
The ride target is $1.2M.
If you can help me to add some lasting impact for kids that deserve assistance, that would be awesome.
Thanks to all my continuing supporters, as well as first-timers!

My Updates
We’re almost at the end…
2 weeks to go….
As the time to leave is approaching, it’s a matter of balance to manage the fatigue of training, the aches of pains of the non-athlete, and the real reason for taking up the challenge - raising some money for needs kids.Thankfully, over 80 friends have donated over $12,000 so far, but I’m hoping for some additional funds, let’s see how we o over the next two weeks.
I know I’m going to do my part on the challenge and get 100km in tomorrow.
Time for the final push!!

What a week!
Coming into Christmas, everyone is always rushing to get things done (hopefully before some well-deserved holidays!I've been extra-especially grateful that 46 of my family, friends, acquaintances, work colleagues and bike riding buddies have donated to Chain in 3 days and have got me half way to goal.
Hats off to all of you!
