1000km to support kids in need - I’m going to leave the world of Zwift and hit the road, not literally this time
This year Chain Reaction has upped the ante…. not only are we riding more K’s with more hills, in more remote and rugged conditions - we are also raising more funds. We’re off to the land of the long white cloud tackling New Zealand's beautiful but harsh South Island.
And Chain Reaction (reasons still unknown) has selected moi as the face, or perhaps the beard of the Sydney event……. Not wanting to be rude, I’m backing up my inaugural 2022 ride and joining the team again for 2023.
Chain Reaction 2022 lured me outside for an amazing, extremely safe and well run event. With the help of Pure Storage and Chain Reaction, I’m going to tackle this challenge again. So after a horrible experience in 2020 of a cycling hit and run, where I became a zwift recluse -- I’ll say “see ya later” to both the indoor trainer and Queensland weather again. Riding through beautiful (aka harsh, rugged, chilly) Aotearoa on a 1,000+km course with 14,000+m of climbing, all in only 7 days.
Funds raised from this event will support major charity partners, So They Can and BaptistCare HOPESTREET
Anything and everything helps, please help us if you can.
Thanks, Mike
