Help me support kids in need
I am taking up the Chain Reaction Cycling Challenge of riding 1000km in 7 days in Tasmania in March this year. I am honoured to participate in the challenge again to support the charities that supporting sick children and their families.
This year we are riding for 2 great charities: BaptistCare HopeStreet and So They Can. BaptistCare HopeStreet is an Australian organization helping women and children who have been victims of domestic violence (https://hopestreet.org.au/). So They Can provides quality education for kids as well as wider support to disadvantaged communities in Kenya and Tanzania.
In 2019, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take up my first Chain Reaction Cycling Challenge covering 1000km from Melbourne to Sydney. It was a challenging but worthwhile experience for me. I am grateful for having such an incredible journey with the team, not only the ride, but also together as a team raising funds to support kids in need.
I have been committed to participate in Chain Reaction Cycling Challenges again over the last 2 years. 2020 Chain Reaction Cycling Challenge was cancelled due to the pandemic. And I was also not able to complete the 2021 Chain Reaction Cycling Challenge due to my personal injury. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your support over the last 2 years during this period.
I am from China and I have been living in Australia since 2004. Professionally, I have a finance background and am working in the banking sector. Married with 2 kids, Louis (8) and Lucas (6).
My son Louis was diagnosed with Autism when he was about 4 years old. we were fortunate to have a lot of support from the community. Today he is getting better. He is a happy and special 8-year-old kid. So, I am always grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community and support kids in need.
For the last 2 years, it has been very difficult for too many, especially those in need. I would be grateful if you could help support them and for any amount you are able to donate. Thank you again for your support.
