Why Am I cycling 1,000km in 7 days?
Taking part in Chain Reaction each year allows me to use my love of cycling for a worthwhile cause. There is so much going on in the world right now and this is my chance to give something back to children in need by riding my bike and raising money for So They Can and BaptistCare HopeStreet.
So They Can use education to empower girls in Kenya and Tanzania to break the cycle of poverty and use education as a tool to end child marriage and bring access to food and clean water as well as access to basic human rights.
Have a watch of this video to see the important work of the So They Can Team:

I can't wait to land in Tasmania and get started on the ride, it's going to be a tough week with lots of mountains to climb up but I know that raising money for these causes will get me over the finish line!
