2022 Chain Reaction - please help me support Kids in need
Hi everyone
It is that time of the year again when I kindly ask for your support as I prepare to embark on my fourth Chain Reaction ride to help support kids in need. This year I am aiming to raise $17,500, with some corporate support I am well on my way but I need your help.
As many of you might know, Chain Reaction has become a bit of a passion project for me. Whilst I am clearly no natural athlete, each Chain Reaction forces me to try and get a little fitter as I prepare to embark on a major physical challenge - this year a 1000 km journey across tropical North Queensland!
And whilst I always feel ‘under done’ at this point in my preparation (this year is no different!), I take comfort in the knowledge of what Chain Reaction participation is all about – trying to raise funds for very important and worthy charities who tirelessly support sick kids.
This year Chain Reaction will support Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Monash Children’s Hospital. Starlight seeks to provide happiness and fun to the lives of sick kids who may be experiencing pain, fear and stress associated with serious illness. Starlight works with kids of all ages, regardless of disability, injury or illness. To learn more about Starlight, click here.
Monash Children’s Hospital, is one of the busiest paediatric healthcare services in Australia, caring for over 100,000 children annually. Its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery is the busiest of its kind, providing care to over 2,000 of Victoria’s most vulnerable patients every year. To learn more, please click here.
