Following an impromptu ride early Saturday morning on 8 June, Chain Reaction riders celebrated the official opening of Level 9 at Ronald McDonald House (South Brisbane), a full purpose fitted floor for regional families with seriously ill children to enjoy some home comforts whist their children recover in the Children’s Hospital.
Two year’s funding support has led to incredible results and a five star experience for families who will be reminded of the Chain Reaction legacy through the themed rider branding and suspended bike on level 9, giving kids a chance to spy the yellow jersey rider on the wall mural designed to showcase riders efforts.
Later that day Chain Reaction Queensland was acknowledged at the AEIOU Gala Ball, as a major supporter for AEIOU Foundation and as that charity’s very first $2million dollar sponsor, recognising the fundraising effort of riders and donors since Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation first partnered with AEIOU in 2013.
