The ultimate corporate
bike challenge

Kel is the Business Continuity Manager for UBS Australia, responsible for overseeing the global BCM program across the Australian and NZ offices.

Kel has been riding bikes and supporting various charities for a couple of decades, but joined his first Chain Reaction challenge last year. He was humbled by the commitment shown by both riders and organisers during the 2015 event and was inspired by the effort put in by the amazing support crew during the week. He's grateful to have the opportunity to join the 2017 NSW Chain Reaction Challenge, supporting such a worthy cause along with such a fantastic group of people.

Hailing from the South Island of New Zealand, he also sees this year's Chain Reaction challenge as a fantastic opportunity to see more of his country from a bicycle. The 2017 course looks very tough indeed with consistently long days and monster climbs and it won’t be a week for the faint-hearted - but then that's a big part of what also makes the Chain Reaction challenge so worthwhile.

And the cause itself, in supporting these Children's charities is just so important – Kel firmly believes that children are quite simply our most precious resource. With a healthy 1 year old son at home, Kel feels that more keenly than ever and wants to do what he can to raise money to facilitate Children's cardiac research through Victor Chang to support families less fortunate than his own.
