The ultimate corporate
bike challenge

Michael became involved in charities 10yrs ago supporting UBS’s involvement with Tour d Kids, and is looking forward to continuing UBS’s support of Chain Reaction and the Victor Chang Foundation as the tour heads to Cairns in May.

Michael keeps fit chasing his 5 kids around, surfing, cycling and doing the occasional triathlon. He is attracted to Chain Reaction due to the charities it supports and common goals of all involved: UBS is a big supporter and matches all staff donations: colleagues are super supportive both verbally and financially; and the team he gets to train and ride with leading upto and during the gruelling 1000kms ride are great fun.

Helping sick kids has and continues to be his main driver though. Having witnessed the pain, sacrifice and trauma child illness brings to families, Michael feels that smashing himself and his mates up hills to raise money for this cause is the least he can do.
